ประวัติวอลเลย์บอลไทย ในปี ค ศ 1934 พ ศ 2477 กรมพลศึกษาได้มีการเปิดอบรมการเล่นวอลเลย์บอลให้กับครูพลศึกษาทั่วประเทศ มีเอกสารที่ถุกจัดพิมพ์โดยกรมพลศึกษา ซึ่งในขณะนั้นมีนาวาเอก หลวงศุภชลาศัย  กีฬาวอลเลย์บอล Volleyball นั้น ถือกำเนิดขึ้นตั้งแต่ปี ค ศ 1895 พ ศ 2438 โดย นายวิลเลียม จี มอร์แกน William G Morgan ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายพลศึกษาของสมาคม Y M C A Young Men s  ประวัติวอลเลย์บอลไทย กีฬาวอลเลย์บอลได้เผยแพร่เข้ามาในประเทศไทยสันนิษฐานได้ว่า เริ่มเล่นกันหลังสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 ในหมู่ชาวจีนและชาวญวน พ ศ 2477 กรมพลศึกษา ได้จัดพิมพ์กติกาวอลเลย์บอลขึ้น โดย  ประวัติวอลเลย์บอลไทย กีฬาวอลเลย์บอลได้เผยแพร่เข้ามาในประเทศไทยสันนิษฐานได้ว่า เริ่มเล่นกันหลังสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 ในหมู่ชาวจีนและชาวญวน พ ศ 2477 กรมพลศึกษา ได้จัดพิมพ์กติกาวอลเลย์บอลขึ้น โดย  ประวัติวอลเลย์บอลในประเทศไทย วอลเลย์บอลได้แพร่หลายเข้ามาในไทย ตั้งแต่เมื่อใดไม่มีหลักฐานยืนยันแน่ชัด เพียงแต่ทราบกันว่าในระยะแรกๆ เป็นที่ นิยมเล่นกันใน
